VV Advisors ("we," "us") operates vv-advisors.io. This policy describes what information we collect when you visit this site or submit an application, and how we use it.

Information we collect

Application information you provide: your name, company, email address, phone number (optional), and your written answers to the application questions, collected through our application form (provided by Typeform).
Materials you choose to share: any documents (such as decks, models, or memos) you submit in connection with an engagement.
Usage and device information: like most websites, we and our service providers collect standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and approximate location, through cookies and similar technologies.
Advertising data: we use the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API to measure the performance of our advertising and to reach visitors with relevant ads on Meta platforms. These tools may collect identifiers such as cookies, IP address, and event data (for example, that an application was submitted).

How we use information

To review applications and decide whether to offer an engagement.
To communicate with you about your application and any resulting engagement.
To prepare for advisory sessions using materials you provide.
To measure and improve our advertising and website.

How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

Service providers that operate parts of this site and our workflow: Typeform (application form), Netlify (website hosting), Google Workspace (email), Zapier (workflow automation), Meta (advertising measurement), and Stripe (payment processing, for approved applicants).
The advisor, who reviews qualifying applications and any materials you submit.
Legal requirements, if disclosure is required by law.

Cookies and advertising choices

You can control cookies through your browser settings. You can manage how Meta uses data for advertising through your Meta account's ad preferences, and opt out of certain interest-based advertising at optout.aboutads.info.

Data retention

We retain application information for as long as needed to evaluate applications, operate engagements, and meet legal and accounting obligations. You may request deletion of your information at any time (see below).

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. To make a request, email us at the address below and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Confidentiality note

Application answers and submitted materials are treated as confidential and are used solely for evaluating and conducting engagements.

Children

This site and our services are intended for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version.
